Education Support Officer

Joining the team in 2019, Melanie brings with her over 15 years experience in the environmental science education and interpretation fields. With Honours in Environmental Science (Conservation Ecology) and a Diploma in Primary Education, she has spent her career aiming to inspire the public and school students alike to connect, care and conserve terrestrial and marine ecosystems and their inhabitants. Having run the SEALIFE Melbourne Aquarium Education department for the last 7 years, she is relishing the sea change and opportunity to support the amazing GORCC education team in delivering, developing and providing engaging, inspiring environmental education to all visitors of our unique coastal environments.
