Progress report 8 September 2010

  • First sod turned by Member for South Barwon and Parliamentary Secretary for Water and Environment Michael Crutchfield, marking the start of construction works. [State Government media release]

Progress report 26 August 2010

  • Sheds and equipment have been installed on-site in preparation for the start of construction works.
  • The pre-cast concrete units that will make up much of the new ramp are currently in production in Melbourne.
  • Serious site work is scheduled to start the week commencing 6 September with the project on time for opening in October 2010.
