Great Ocean Road Renewal Program
A three-year, $1.35 million program, to deliver four discrete projects - each critically important in their own right - supported by funding from the Australian Government.
Natural values project
This project aims to reduce weed infestation and land degradation to ensure native vegetation is conserved for future generations (part of the Great Ocean Road Renewal Program).

This project involves undertaking an assessment of the vulnerability of the coast to climate change in terms of potential impacts on coastal assets and values (part of the Great Ocean Road Renewal Program).
Cultural Values Project
A cultural heritage management plan has been developed to provide the foundation for a better understanding of the coast's Aboriginal heritage and sites, and an ongoing partnership with local Aboriginal groups (part of the Great Ocean Road Renewal Program).
Surf Coast Walk
The Surf Coast Walk is officially open following a three year, $1.35 million redevelopment
resulting in a 44km, world class walking track along the Great Ocean Road.
Torquay Tourism and Facilities Project
A project to deliver new public facilities at Torquay's main surf beach, including new amenities and incorporating a kiosk (part of the Great Ocean Road Renewal Program).
Extension of Lorne's popular Tramway Track
The existing track has been extended to make it easier to access.
Fishermans Beach redevelopment
A brand new, purpose-built community, tourism and recreation facility on the Torquay foreshore
New Split Point Lookout
Split Point Lookout is a cliff-edge structure overlooking the magnificent Surf Coast and the iconic Split Point Lighthouse.
North Lorne toilet block
A new toilet block has been constructed at the North Lorne Lions car park, replacing the old facility previously on the site.
Pt Impossible public toilet
A new public toilet has been constructed at Point Impossible.
Torquay boat ramp
The completion of the new boat ramp at Torquay's Fishermans Beach signifies the delivery of a $1.7 million project that will provide safer access for Surf Coast anglers and boaters to launch and retrieve their vessels.
