A series of maps showing the coastal reserves we manage.

The Crown land coastal reserves managed by GORCC extend from Point Impossible to Cumberland River within the boundaries of the Surf Coast Shire.

We manage 37 kilometres of this coastline with other extensive areas of coastline now part of the Great Otway National Park managed by Parks Victoria. Other smaller coastal areas are managed by Surf Coast Shire.

The map below depicts the areas we manage in red and is followed by a series of local area maps showing more detailed descriptions.

In the Torquay region, we manage 11km of coastal reserves the encompasses Point Impossible, Whites Beach, Fishermans Beach, Torquay Front and Surf Beaches, Jan Juc to Bones Road (just before Bells Beach Recreation Reserve). We also manage Taylor Park.

 

In the Anglesea region, we manage 5km of coastal reserves from the end of Purnell Street to the mouth of Anglesea River, Point Roadknight and O'Donohue Road.

 

In the Aireys Inlet and Fairhaven region, we manage 13km of coastal reserves incorporating Boundary Road (near Sunneymede beach), Split Point Lighthouse, Painkalac Creek, Fairhaven, Moggs Creek, Eastern View and Spout Creek. Surf Coast Shire manages the lighthouse and some areas around Eagle Rock Parade and Painkalac Creek.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In the Lorne region, we manage 8km of coastal reserves that includes North Lorne, Erskine River, Point Grey and St Georges River. We also manage Queens Park and Cumberland River.
