Committee Meetings

About this page

The Committee meets regularly to oversee the organisation's work and activities.

Meetings focus on overseeing performance and addressing key strategic issues. Meetings are generally held on Friday afternoons, with the location varying along the coast.

Sub-Committee's have been established to enhance the work of the Committee. The Sub-Committee's meet regularly and focus on coastal reserves, business services and audit.

Committee members also contribute to various out-of-session matters , and attend various meetings and functions for GORCC and other relevant initiatives.

Public Input Policy

The Great Ocean Road Coast Committee recognizes the importance of encouraging members of the public to discuss matters of interest with the Committee.

To facilitate this, a standing agenda item allows matters to be raised with the Committee at their regular meetings. To raise an issue, you must submit the attached application form [more] to the Committee’s Executive Officer at least one week before to the meeting. Copies of the form can also be obtained by phoning our office on 5220 5055.

From time to time the Great Ocean Road Coast Committee will invite members of the public to respond to surveys or to join focus groups and advisory committees to assist with the planning and development of coastal projects.

Correspondence to the Committee should be addressed to:
